Mr. Davies reports that the woods on the easterly side of the property will probably be used for the new
golf course. It is reported that progress has been made on the plan for the new golf course and
that the upkeep of the course should be $12,000 per year. |
01/26/1915 |
Mr. Raynor is officially approved to build the new golf course. Mr. Raynor is to submit plans to the
Greens Committee for approval and that $37,500 is appropriated for use by the Greens Committee.
Mr. Raynor is to be employed as an expert for $1,800. |

Mr. Calman provides a report on the progress of the construction of the new course. |

The Board authorizes the payment of an extra $50 per month to Mr. White
from May 1st- October 31st. $300 is authorized for the construction of a road on the side of the 16th hole |

The club commissions the design of a new emblem. |

A report is filed that there is “favorable progress” on the construction of the golf course and that savings in the costs have been achieved. |

Annual report notes that the course was nearly finished apart from some bunkers and traps but that this would be completed by Decoration Day. The report also gives thanks to Robert White, Seth Raynor and Charles Macdonald for their work to the course. The original estimate was that the course would cost approximately $37,000 but it is reported that the actual cost of construction was $32,000. |
