For your convenience Head Golf Professional Anthony Aruta, PGA, stocks his shop with the finest in golf equipment and equipment fitting tools, the latest in men’s and women’s golf attire, and offers an excellent club repair and regripping shop for you and your guests.
The shop is stocked with equipment such as Titleist, Taylor Made, Callaway, Ping and more. Custom fitting is offered with our fitting carts, tools, and Flightscope launch monitor. It is encouraged for all clubs to be fit including putters. There is also a large selection of complementary demo equipment available for you to try on your own. All clubs are sold at the manufacturer’s minimum pricing.
There is a large selection of apparel available for men and ladies from Polo Ralph Lauren, Peter Millar, Vineyard Vines, Adidas, Greyson and many more. All apparel is discounted off of retail at all times, and complementary gift wrapping is always available. If we do not have what you are looking for, we will get it! There is also a large selection of golf bags, footwear, hats, gloves, balls and other accessories
Instruction at North Shore
Whether you are a scratch player or first-time golfer, expert instruction can make a big difference. The Teaching Professionals at North Shore look forward to helping North Shore members and their guests improve their games. Most lessons are booked in advance, but never hesitate to ask if someone on the staff is available at the last minute. The instruction program is quite varied and includes individual lessons, playing lessons, women’s clinics, men’s clinics, and junior clinics and camps. Flightscope launch monitor technology and video are also incorporated into the lessons. The fee structure is as follows:

Lesson: $140/hr; $80/half-hr.

Sue Marino, Teaching Professional
Lesson or Club Fit: $135/hr; $75/half-hr.
Adam Laird, PGA Assistant Professional
Lesson or Club Fit: $125/hr; $65/half-hr.

Indoor Teaching Studio at North Shore
The indoor studio at North Shore is the perfect way to practice your game in the off-season, or any day. Utilizing the latest Flightscope launch monitor technology you can see your shots into the net fly into the sky on a television. Beyond capturing such ball data as the launch angle, spin rate, and distance it also captures a multitude of club data including swing path, face angle, angle of attack, dynamic loft, vertical and horizontal swing plane and more. This data allows you to see what is really happening in your swing so that you can make real improvements instead of just guessing. Video technology is also used in the studio to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of your swing improvement. There is also space to do indoor putting work.
In addition to the teaching technology, the studio is equipped with a Mitchell Signature Angle Machine, the finest in the industry for measuring loft and lie, as well as bending clubs. We are able to spec all of your clubs in-house and make any appropriate adjustments. There is also a DigiFlex Frequency board for checking the true flex on irons, and a Tour Gauge swing weight scale.
